The bulk of our sales are in the environmental spill protection area, including spill pallet covers, waste container covers, portable containment berms, filter bags, emergency response pools, liners and other assorted bags and covers for the purpose of liquid retention. We also manufacture soft playground equipment, golf cart enclosures and rear bag covers, along with other covers, bags and industrial canvas products. The Carolina CoverTech product development team never stops thinking about what you need. They can solve your problem! Carolina CoverTech is a company that designs, develops and manufactures products that cover, protect, contain and enclose. These products are made from flexible "fabric" type materials such as vinyl, cotton duck, acrylic, polyethylene films and a variety of other materials. The company was formed in the mid 1800's and began as a furniture store. It developed later into a window treatment business. In 1925, Carolina CoverTech began manufacturing canvas awnings and continues to do so today. The bulk of our business is custom "fabric" products for a variety of fields and industries. The canvas awnings account for around 20 percent of our annual volume. We work in vinyl, cotton, acrylic, urethane, PVC and many other fabrics. Polyethylene film, urethane film and PVC film are used. We produce products with all types of webbing. Fasteners include grommets, zippers, snaps, buckles and many others. Machines used include: single needle, double needle, bar tackers, di-electric heat sealers, thermal impulse heat sealers, hot air heat sealers, welding equipment, binders and more. Processes include sewing, heat-sealing, mechanical fastening, proprietary seaming, hot melt adhesives die-cutting and more. |
